Katy Diamond Hamer shares her Top Picks for The Armory Show Pier 94 for 2017. Under the direction of Benjamin Genocchio, the Armory Show has a total of 210 exhibitors between Pier 92 (Modern) and Pier 94 (Contemporary) and with several interactive booths and many galleries participating for the first time -including Galerie Joseph Tang from Paris and Galeria Moises Perez De Albeniz from Madrid. It is as always the highlight of New York Art Week. Open to the public until Sunday March 5th, 2017 until 6pm, below are our Top Ten picks, giving visitors the opportunity to span the globe through the conglomerate of an art fair, without having to leave the island of Manhattan.

Project by Fiete Stolte, Presented by Albertz Benda, New York
This project allowed the sitter to photograph their own eye in a photo booth. The result was an option to acquire a small black and white photograph, self-portrait for $100 and by March 3rd, over 300 had been sold.
